Video: Kenya meets Naija in hilarious comic movie

A Kenyan- Nigeria comic movie is set to premiere at Planet Media cinemas tomorrow 3rd March 2017 at 5 pm. Mostly set in Kenya, ‘Bro Jekwu’ is the story of a village champion (Mike Ezuruonye) with over bloated impression of himself who is fortunate to make it to Kenya on the bill of an unscrupulous cousin and now works for no-nonsense ‘Lady Boss’ and former Miss Kenya, Juliet Ochieng, who poisons traitors at the dinner table and is not hesitant to attack when provoked.

Scripted by Mike and Juliet, Brother Jekwu merges Kenya and Nigerian comedy in an attempt to showcase each country’s role and uniqueness in African storytelling with comedy and desperation taking centrestage. Other stars in the movie include socialite Huddah Monroe who will be making her movie debut in this film, Nigerian beauty and actress Angela Okorie, Nigerian comedian Klint Da Drunk among others.
