Let me put on my bikinis and enjoy my life: Akothee

Flamboyant songbird Akothee has come out to refute rumours that she intends to join the political arena in 2017 by vying for the Migori County Women representative position.

The rumours were prompted by a viral campaign poster of Akothee on a Jubilee branded background, raising questions such as why she would choose to run on a Jubilee ticket in an ODM stronghold.

“The devil is at it again , now am not selling women pictures to Europeans, now am vying for the Migori women rep . Let somebody warn this person trying to push me to the wall to be careful. Am not a politician , I don’t know any tail or head of politics, i am too young to be stressed. Don’t give me a shoe that isn’t meant for me , leave me alone, let me put on my bikinis & enjoy my life…” she ranted on her Facebook page.

In the post, she asserted that her goals for 2017 are to get married, give birth, finish her degree and release an album.
