Chaos In Kisumu As Area MCA Goes Missing

Chaos erupted in Kisumu on Friday morning after an area MCA was reported missing in what is suspected to be an abduction case.

Paul Odhiambo Okiri popularly known as Manager is suspected to have been kidnapped last night after his car was found abandoned by his family outside his gate this morning.

Enraged Kisumu residents have taken to the streets to protest the kidnapping, they have barricaded the Kisumu-Busia road and torched several houses in the area calling for immediate action by the local police.

Kisumu County Commissioner Maalim Mohammed said that the case had already been reported to the Maseno police station and they are looking into it.

Mr. Okiri was an outspoken MCA who before his disappearance was on the frontline of asking county officials to take responsibility for the missing funds that had been set aside for ward development in the region.
