Ogopa icons to curtain raise at ‘The Plot’ to celebrate Kenyan Music Roots

Property Reality Company (PRC), has announced an Ogopa Deejays re-union for this year’s edition of The Plot. Ogopa is widely recognized as pioneers of music in Kenya, having introduced Kenyans to some of the more recognized names in music today. The Plot, set for Saturday brings in international stars Mya, Ginuwine and 112,

“The Ogopa re-union will feature performances by some Kenyan music icons. It will set the stage for the performance by the international artists. We are giving Kenyans an experience to be remembered,” said Mr. Gacari, CEO PRC.

Dubbed The Plot 2.0, this year’s event is anticipated to be the biggest event of the year. The re-union will also be used to pay tribute to one of Kenya’s music icons, E-Sir.

Susumila drops video for new collabo with Avril 

After teasing fans with a sassy trailer last week Susumila’s new smash hit ‘Wewe’ featuring luscious songstress Avril, has been released and things are looking up following the massive airplay and Youtube views it is enjoying. The visuals follow the trend that many artistes have been choosing to adopt of shooting music videos in rural areas. Directed by Ricky Bekko and produced by Totti, Susumila courts Avril in the song as he attempts to win her over but eventually loses out. It’s great to see Avril back in the game even though she is just the featured artiste on the track.
Charlie Sheen to rally stars to fight HIV stigmatization

After revealing in an interview late last year that he was HIV+, American actor Charlie Sheen is now encouraging other celebrities to reveal their status to the public and help him fight stigmatization. This is all in the hopes of diminishing the stigma that surrounds the disease. ‘Famous people living with HIIV/AIDS have a responsibility to speak out,’ the actor said. Charlie now seeks the support of fellow celebrities in the quest for a stigma free world. “There is a lot of prejudice against HIV-positive people and I hope to change that.”
