22 Injured In Kisii-Bound-Bus Accident

At least 22 passengers were injured after a bus heading to Kisii town was involved in accident on Monday morning along the Kisii-Sotik road in Metamaywa.

According to an eye witness, the Nyamira Express bus was being driven at a high speed, the driver then lost control causing the bus to slide and overturn.

No one sustained serious injuries, the injured  received medical attention at Keroka Sub County Hospital and others were referred to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.

The CEO of Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, Dr. Enock Ondari confirmed that all the patients were being treated, were in a stable condition and will be released later during the day.
