Dormitory burns down at Kaimosi High School

A dormitory caught fire at Kaimosi Boys High school in Vihiga County, Friday morning. The fire started at dawn while the students were preparing for class. Photos circulating social media shows beds on fire and mattresses completely burnt inside the one-storeyed white building.

While the cause of the fire is yet to be established, fire fighters are currently on the ground trying to put the fire out. The institution joins a long list of other schools in the country that had some of their buildings burnt down this year.
