UP Nairobi set for epic birthday celebration

Lucky Birdi, Tetu Shani, Disco Vumbi and Teto Trio are just some of the stellar cast that will take part in this year’s UP LIVE 5! The birthday bash taking place this Saturday, dubbed The Funkadelic Railroad will mark 5 years at the railroad. Inspired by afros and Africa, the ‘Afro Disco Explosion’ is touted as the biggest, baddest, boldest celebration yet incorporating art, music, culture into one experience.

The evening which will be divided into sessions starts at 5:30 pm with a screening by The Nest and live sets begin from 8pm.

Advance tickets go for Sh.2500 while at the gate they cost Sh.3000. Gates at the Nairobi Railway Museum open as from 4pm so show up and revel with the UP Nairobi crew.
