Tedd Josiah under fire for anti-CORD rant

Veteran music producer Tedd Josiah has never been one to mince his words. He has recently expressed his displeasure with opposition leaders in the country and the current anti-IEBC protests shaking things up in the country. Although he was responsible for the massive hit ‘Unbwogable‘ the anthem for the 2002 general election, his attack on the CORD demonstrations has a left a bad taste in people’s mouths. With one detractor penning an open letter asking ‘When you offered to work for him and quoted big figures in return, you knew what he stood for. What has changed?’

Former Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi is dead

Stephen Okechukwu Keshi aka the Big Boss, the only Nigerian coach to have won the African Cup of Nations, has died at the age of 54. Early Wednesday morning Keshi succumbed to a heart attack just months after his wife of 35 years, Kate Keshi, died of cancer. Stephen Keshi an iconic figure in Nigerian football, is the second person in history to win the AFCON championship as a player and as a coach. He is also the fifth person of the legendary 1994 Super Eagles team to die after Uche Okafor, Thompson Oliha, Rashidi Yekini and Wilfred Agbonavbare. He will be missed.

Ghana to ban skin bleaching products

Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority declared that it will not allow the sale of cosmetic products in the country containing the ingredient hydroquinone. The chemical has been linked to cancer and a number of other ailments but it is still used as an active component in skin-bleaching creams.
